Terms of Use
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These terms apply to PDF Medic Online at pdf.dexaloop.com (the "site"), made by Dexaloop ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
1. Using the tools
The tools are free to use in your web browser for your own documents and images, at home or at work. The files you choose are processed on your own device and are not uploaded to us. You are responsible for having the right to open, change and share the files you use.
2. Our software is protected
The site and everything in it that we made are owned by Dexaloop and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws in India, the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union and every country that is party to the Berne Convention. This includes our program code (including the PDF engine and the PDF editor, whether readable, minified or compiled), its structure, sequence and organisation, the page text, the design and the names and logos "PDF Medic" and "Dexaloop". All rights not expressly given to you in these terms are reserved.
Some parts of the site are open-source software made by others, such as pdf.js, pdf-lib, qpdf, HarfBuzz and several fonts. They are listed with their licences on our Licences page and remain under their own licences. Nothing in these terms limits any right those licences give you in those parts. Our own code is not open source.
3. What you may do
We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable permission to use the tools through the site, in a web browser, for their normal purpose. Your browser has to download our code to run the tools on your device; that download is only for this purpose and gives you no other right in the code.
4. What you must not do
Unless we agree in writing, you must not, and must not help anyone else to: (a) copy, save, extract, download for reuse, mirror, frame or host our code or pages, in whole or in part; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, de-minify, de-obfuscate or otherwise try to work out the source code, structure or methods of our code, except to the extent a law that cannot be excluded by contract expressly allows it; (c) change, translate or adapt our code, or make works based on it; (d) use our code, or anything derived from it, in any other website, app, browser extension, program, product or service, or to build a product that competes with the site; (e) sell, rent, license, publish or give away our code or access to it; (f) remove, hide or change any copyright notice, licence notice, identifying mark or domain check in our code or pages; (g) get around any technical measure that protects the site or its code; (h) use bots, scrapers or other automated means to use the tools or copy the site, other than search engines indexing public pages; (i) use our code, or what you learn by examining it, to train, test or improve any artificial intelligence or machine learning system.
5. Marks in our code
Our code carries copyright notices and hidden identifying marks, and it checks that it is running on our own site. These let us recognise copies of our code wherever they appear and prove where they came from.
6. If these terms are broken
If you break section 4, your permission to use the site ends at once without notice, and you must stop using and delete any copy of our code you hold. We may also, without limit to our other rights: ask hosting providers, domain registrars, app stores, browser extension stores and search engines to remove infringing copies (including notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act and similar laws in other countries); and bring legal claims for an injunction, damages, an account of profits and our legal costs, where the law allows.
To report a copy of our code or site, write to mjaisal.dev@gmail.com with the address where you found it.
7. No guarantee
The site and its tools are provided free, "as is" and "as available", without any warranty, express or implied, including any warranty that results are correct or complete or that the site is fit for a particular purpose. Check every result before you rely on it, send it or sign it, and keep your original files: our tools never change them, but you should keep your own copies. As far as the law allows, Dexaloop is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the site or its results, including lost data, lost profits or indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes and language
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept it. If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. These terms are written in English and Arabic; if the two differ, the English version applies.
